What You Will Learn and Do:

As a Learner Mechanic, you will:

• Complete theoretical training and hands-on experience
• Learn to repair and maintain Earthmoving Equipment
• Keep a logbook, skills records, and training documentation
• Follow all health and safety procedures
• Work in teams and communicate effectively
• Maintain clean and safe workspaces
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems
• Establish a solid basis for a long-term career as a mechanic in South Africa.

Qualifications Needed:

• Grade 12/N3 with Pure Mathematics and Physical Science
• At least 50% in English
• N3/N4 with theory in Motor/Diesel/Electrical (advantageous)
• Technician for the World certificate (T4W) (must be completed before start)
• Basic computer skills are a plus
• Must have a valid driver’s license (Code B or EB; C/C1 is a bonus)
