About the Role
As Officer Data Center, you will monitor and report on overall data center availability and capacity optimization. You will advise on design, build, hosting, installation, and decommissioning of ICT equipment in a secure, physical environment. Your input will help shape strategies for hosting hardware—servers, network gear, storage arrays—and ensure that all IT functions across Eskom are served well.
You’ll also assist the Data Center Manager by planning and researching emerging technologies, and ensuring that infrastructure aligns with business needs and service provider arrangements.
