About the Role

In this hands-on role, you’ll provide first-line technical support to users, troubleshoot hardware and software problems, and ensure efficient system performance. As a Desktop Support Technician, your daily tasks will include managing IT assets, installing and maintaining software and operating systems, assembling PCs, configuring user accounts, and supporting printers and finance-related software.

You’ll also play a key role in data protection by performing regular system backups, updates, and preventive maintenance.   • Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows 10 and newer, networking fundamentals, and Active Directory
  • Advantageous: MCDST, CompTIA Security+, and knowledge of PLC systems
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT support roles
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Must be able to pass a practical IT competency test during the hiring process

Familiarity with information technology management systems and cybersecurity technology will be beneficial, especially in a highly secure, regulated industrial environment.
