About the Role
Over the next 3–4 years, you’ll complete a structured training programme that blends classroom learning and on-the-floor experience. Skills & Requirements
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science
- National Technical Certificate (N4) in Millwright or related field
- N5 or N6 qualifications are a bonus
- Strong mechanical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work solo or in teams
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Physically fit with good eyesight (not colour blind)
- Ready to do shift work, overtime, and attend training in Johannesburg
Key Responsibilities
- Complete the full apprenticeship per SAB and SETA standards
- Follow safety, health, and environmental protocols
- Help maintain a safe and clean workplace
- Locate equipment, parts, and technical documentation
- Assist with job planning and budgeting
- Learn to diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment
- Contribute to improved processes and machine uptime
