About the Role
The Call Centre Agent plays a critical role in managing customer communication and sales via phone. You’ll be responsible for answering inbound calls, handling complaints, and reaching out to both current and potential customers. Additionally, you’ll assist with order capturing, resolving queries, and ensuring top-quality service delivery on every call.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent and professional customer service with first-call resolution
- Use effective communication, email etiquette, and soft skills
- Capture accurate information from various sources into company systems
- Follow standard operating procedures to ensure call quality and accuracy
- Maintain daily sales order schedules and remove holds as needed
- Collaborate with internal departments to fulfill customer needs
- Verify and process customer orders accurately
- Ensure all calls are answered promptly and within set timeframes
- Support other departments as needed, including cross-training into Milling and HPC units

Qualification Requirements
- Matric certificate is essential
- Relevant sales qualification is an added advantage
- Basic understanding of FMCG manufacturing and GP 2010 is desirable
Skills and Experience
- 1-2 years of customer service experience is essential
- 1-2 years in an FMCG environment is beneficial
- Experience in a call centre or telesales is desirable
- Proficient in Excel and basic data entry
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and numeracy skills
- Proactive, organized, and customer-focused mindset

Work Schedule
