Your Role as an In-Service Trainee
As an Industrial Engineering In-service Trainee, you will report directly to the Site Industrial Engineer and work closely with the production team. This is a practical, project-based role where you’ll contribute directly to operations and process improvement on the factory floor.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Refine and improve production process methods
- Identify ways to streamline factory operations
- Conduct labour efficiency and effectiveness analyses
- Assist with capital expenditure and quality control projects
- Prepare clear, data-driven reports and present findings
Who Should Apply?
This internship is ideal for students who have completed or are in the process of completing a formal qualification in industrial engineering and are looking for in-service training to fulfill their practical experience requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- Working toward or recently completed a BSc, BEng, or BTech in Industrial Engineering
- Minimum of 70% average in your final academic year
Preferred Attributes and Skills
- Previous vacation or part-time work experience is an advantage
- Strong communication skills across all organizational levels
- Willing to work shifts, overtime, and travel between factory sites
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on factory setting
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach
- Good understanding of industrial engineering principles
- Strong report writing and presentation abilities
