Job Overview

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is hiring a fixed term Cleaner for their Greenvalley store in Johannesburg. The position involves keeping the store clean and hygienic according to Dis-Chem’s high standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric
• At least 6 months cleaning experience
• Good command of English
• Basic customer service skills
• Willing to work retail hours

Preferred Requirements

• Bilingual
• Experience in cleaning retail stores

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness across the store
• Clean shop floor, stock rooms, admin offices, canteen, and dispensary
• Ensure restrooms and canteen are clean and stocked
• Use correct cleaning equipment and materials
• Display wet floor signs during cleaning
• Assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Comply with health and safety standards

Job Conditions

• Willing and able to work long hours, weekends, and holidays
