About the Role
The Administrative Assistant – IC Payroll position supports independent contractor (IC) onboarding, agreement processing, and payroll reporting within the Emeris HR department. You will be the vital link between campuses and the national office, ensuring that all HR documentation, timesheets, and payroll data are handled efficiently and meet strict audit standards.
You’ll also manage digital platforms like Adobe Sign for contract processing and HR systems such as Payspace for payroll submissions. Your daily tasks will include responding to queries, checking permit expiry dates for foreign contractors, maintaining documentation accuracy, and ensuring payment issues are escalated when needed.
