What You’ll Do as a Storeman
The Storeman role is focused on managing stock levels and ensuring an organized, efficient storeroom. You will play a key part in preventing stock losses and ensuring timely availability of parts for the technical maintenance teams.
- Maintain adequate levels of technical and non-technical stock.
- Keep the store secure, clean, and organized.
- Receive and issue stock according to company procedures.
- Capture all stock movement accurately using the stock management system.
- Conduct regular stock counts and audits.
- Report stock issues and performance feedback to the Store Supervisor.
- Deliver excellent customer service internally.
- Adhere to all Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) procedures.
