About the Role

As a Travel Call Centre Agent, you will be the voice of Bryte Insurance for customers and travel agents. Your main role will involve handling phone calls and emails, giving travel insurance advice, and assisting with sales and policy changes. You’ll work closely with both customers and travel agents to ensure they understand Bryte’s travel insurance products and receive excellent service.

Skills & Requirements

  • Matric qualification
  • FAIS Compliant with RE5 for Representatives
  • Up-to-date CPD (Continuous Professional Development) points
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans (preferred)
  • Previous experience in a call centre environment
  • Knowledge of travel insurance and customer service practices
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming calls and emails from customers and travel agents
  • Assist with travel insurance queries and provide accurate product information
  • Schedule appointments and process secure payments
  • Manage email correspondence using provided templates
  • Process policy amendments, confirmations of cover, and cancellations
  • Follow up with customers when needed
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Meet quality and performance standards set by management
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints within company guidelines
