Skills & Requirements
- A diploma in Tourism Management or a similar qualification
- Experience as a desk receptionist or similar front office role
- Computer literacy – knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Room Seeker will be an added advantage
- Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills
- Good command of English
- Ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and direct telephone calls and messages promptly
- Welcome guests and manage reservation check-in and check-out processes
- Charge and process any extra guest expenses
- Ensure payments are collected in accordance with company policy
- Provide guests with information about camp activities and services
- Handle guest complaints and requests in a professional manner
- Support the front desk team with day-to-day administration
- Uphold SANParks’ dress code and customer service standards
