About the Role
The Specialist Artisan will report to the Engineering Superintendent and play a key role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment in the plant. The position requires someone who can work across disciplines to ensure all machinery and systems run smoothly and in line with relevant standards and codes of practice.

Skills & Requirements

- Experience in high-speed packaging and processing plants is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license is essential.
- Willingness to work shifts, standby duty, and overtime as needed.
- Strong knowledge of machinery, tools, and safety procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to manage teams and communicate effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising a team of artisans across three shifts.
- Planning and executing maintenance work, including preventative and predictive tasks.
- Diagnosing faults, ensuring quick and effective repairs.
- Participating in root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts.
- Supporting Capex planning and shutdown preparations.
- Maintaining and safely storing tools and equipment.
- Ensuring full compliance with SHEQ and HACCP standards.
- Coaching and mentoring team members to upskill and enhance performance.
