Skills & Requirements
To qualify, applicants must meet the following:
- Education: MBChB/MBBCh or an equivalent medical degree
- Registration: Must be registered with the HPCSA as a medical practitioner under Independent Practice
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years post-registration in Independent Practice
- At least 5 years’ experience working as a Medical Officer in a healthcare facility post-Community Service
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of medical ethics and sound general clinical experience
- Certifications (Advantageous): ACLS, APLS, or ATLS certifications
