About the Role
Objective Personnel is looking for a dedicated Mechanical Artisan to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot critical mechanical equipment on a high-performing FMCG production site. The ideal candidate will have a solid mechanical background, with strong diagnostic skills and a passion for efficient plant performance.
As part of a skilled engineering team, you will support the operation and reliability of the plant’s machinery, contribute to long-term asset care, and provide expert support to shift teams. You must be available for standby duty and responsive in high-pressure situations.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out mechanical repairs and maintenance on production equipment
- Identify and resolve mechanical faults through troubleshooting
- Apply principles of Reliability Centred Maintenance
- Support production shifts with technical assistance and repairs
- Ensure equipment runs at peak efficiency and minimal downtime
- Respond to callouts and participate in standby roster
Skills & Experience Requirements
- Trade Tested or Qualified in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance on FMCG equipment
- Strong working knowledge of plant machinery
- Previous experience in a brewing plant is advantageous
- Knowledge of fault diagnosis, maintenance best practices, and preventive care
- Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills
