Skills & Requirements
- National Diploma or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- National N Diploma in Fitting and Turning
- Completed Trade Test Certificate in Mechanical Engineering (essential)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in heavy industry maintenance
- Strong knowledge of preventative and corrective maintenance techniques
- Understanding of engineering regulations and safety practices
- Ability to use tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Competent in performing inspections, overhauls, installations, and calibrations
- Experience with recording maintenance activities and reporting issues
