About the Role
As an IT Infrastructure Support Engineer at Blueion, you’ll be part of a dedicated support team responsible for maintaining and improving IT operations across various systems. From Windows desktop and server environments to Microsoft 365 and networking devices, your technical expertise will ensure smooth operations and exceptional user support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support for all local and remote Windows desktop environments
- Configure and manage Windows server environments (onsite and cloud-based)
- Support Microsoft 365 tools such as Azure, Intune, and Teams
- Install, configure, and manage networking switches, VOIP systems, CCTV, and access control
- Oversee procurement and setup of IT equipment for South African offices
- Ensure efficient operation of disaster recovery systems and email collaboration tools
- Maintain SLAs via IT ticketing system; escalate tickets when necessary
- Monitor internet links and resolve connectivity issues quickly
- Regularly review and update internal IT procedures and documentation
- Conduct IT inductions and training for new employees

- Strong experience with supplier and ISP liaison
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and working in team environments
- Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal
- High attention to detail and ability to document IT processes
