Fidelity Services Group is looking for a dedicated Health and Safety Officer to join their Security Division in Randfontein, Gauteng. This permanent position is ideal for candidates with strong leadership skills and in-depth experience in the security or mining industry.
Role Overview
The successful applicant will be responsible for implementing and overseeing health and safety standards across multiple sites. This includes ensuring compliance with ISO standards, maintaining safety files, and proactively identifying risks in collaboration with the client and site teams.

Key Qualifications and Requirements
- Matric certificate with Grade A/B PSIRA registration
- 5–8 years of experience in the Security Industry (Mining sector experience is a plus)
- Knowledge of ISO standards: 9001, 14001, 27001, 23001
- Relevant certifications in Health & Safety (SAMTRAC, Risk Management, Environmental HSE)
- Strong computer literacy (MS Word and Excel)
- Excellent problem-solving and operational planning skills
- Valid, unendorsed driver’s license with own transport
- No criminal record or pending cases
- Must reside in the West Rand area
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure all client site security and safety requirements are met
- Conduct risk assessments and implement proactive safety measures
- Keep health & safety files up to date
- Report health and safety findings to clients and management
- Ensure compliance of on-site security officers with client contracts
- Submit monthly reports and attend regular management meetings
- Train staff on client procedures and safety systems
- Support in managing shrinkage budgets and operational planning
