Reporting to the Financial Manager, this role plays a key part in managing financial systems and reporting within the business. You’ll handle everything from bank reconciliations to preparing financial schedules and supporting audits. If you have a knack for accounting systems like Sage One or QuickBooks and understand IFRS16 and hedge accounting, this could be the perfect match for you.
- Manage and review the Cashbook Function and related queries
- Prepare and reconcile financial transactions, including journal entries for management accounts
- Review monthly income statements and balance sheet schedules
- Update and reconcile the Fixed Asset Register / Wear and Tear Register
- Handle finance lease agreements and insurance declarations/claims
- Assist with month-end rollovers and cash flow calculations
- Support internal, interim, and final audits
- Resolve ad hoc accounting and finance issues
