About the Role
As a Call Centre Agent, your primary role will be to receive and dispatch calls, register complaints, and provide professional feedback to customers. You’ll be working closely with the community, addressing their needs and concerns in line with the municipality’s service charter. The role includes both day and afternoon shifts, providing flexibility for different lifestyles.
- Answer and manage incoming calls professionally
- Register complaints and service requests accurately
- Dispatch issues to relevant departments
- Provide timely feedback to the community
- Meet and exceed performance goals set by the municipality
- Support other admin or call centre duties as assigned

Skills & Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric certificate)
- Certificate in Call Centre Support, Contact Centre or Business Process Support
- Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans (knowledge of IsiZulu or Sesotho is a bonus)
- At least 2 years of experience in a call centre or similar customer service environment
- Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills
- Computer literate with strong administrative ability
- Attention to detail and the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Knowledge of Midvaal’s municipal area is a strong advantage
- Willing and able to work shifts (Day: 06:00–14:00, Afternoon: 14:00–22:00)
- Must be able to travel to and from Meyerton daily
