What the Job Is About
The Warehouse Assistant will help with receiving, storing, and moving goods within the warehouse. You’ll play a key role in ensuring materials are handled efficiently and safely, while maintaining order and accuracy in the system.

This position is suitable for individuals who are detail-oriented, organised, and willing to work in a fast-paced mining environment. Previous warehouse experience is important, and safety awareness is a must.
Skills Requirements
- Grade 12 / N3 Technical
- Ideally, a supply chain or logistics certificate (NQF4)
- Valid SA Driver’s Licence – Code B
- 2–3 years of warehouse experience
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP)
- Forklift, overhead crane, or reach truck licences are advantageous
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, pick, bin, and deliver materials within the warehouse
- Follow safety and housekeeping procedures at all times
- Help resolve inventory system queries (GRV, RECOs, etc.)
- Report inventory issues like errors, damages, or variances
- Use FIFO stock rotation and cycle counting processes
- Assist with issuing stock and managing documentation
- Support OTIF (on-time in-full) deliveries and performance goals
