The SHER Risk Intern will support safety, health, environment, and risk-related initiatives at RCL Foods’ baking operations. This hands-on role offers exposure to compliance monitoring, reporting, audits, and incident management aligned with ISO45001 Management Systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Support development and improvement of management systems and SOPs
- Ensure compliance with HSE processes and procedures
- Conduct safety inspections and audits with action plans for corrections
- Monitor fire extinguishers and first aid kits for readiness
- Assist in risk assessments and emergency drills
- Participate in incident investigations and report compilation
- Maintain HSE documentation on noticeboards
- Attend statutory meetings and compile minutes
- Help drive CAPAs (Corrective and Preventative Actions)
Required Qualifications
- Matric / Grade 12
- Diploma in Health & Safety or actively pursuing one
- SAMTRAC certification is an advantage
