What the Job Is About
The Santam Learnership is a structured 12-month programme aimed at unemployed youth. Learners will gain real-world experience while studying toward a qualification in short-term insurance. Successful candidates will also complete the FSCA regulatory RE5 exam and may qualify for IISA membership.
Who Should Apply?
To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- South African citizen between the ages of 18–28
- Grade 12 with minimum 50% in English and a second language
- 60% in mathematical literacy or at least 40% in mathematics
- Currently unemployed
- Not currently studying at any institution
- Not have completed a short-term insurance learnership with INSETA
- Must not have more than 1 year of work experience
- Persons with disabilities must provide a medical certificate

- Anyone holding a post-matriculation credential (degree, diploma, certificate, etc.)
- Anyone currently enrolled in a post-matric qualification
- Anyone with more than 1 year of work experience
