Kontak Recruitment is looking for a reliable and hands-on IT Support Technician to join a dynamic team based in Johannesburg Central. This is a full-time, on-site role ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems and keeping internal systems running smoothly.
What the Job Is About
As an IT Support Technician, you’ll provide first-line support for all hardware, software, and networking issues across the company. From Office 365 to warehouse management software, your day will involve helping users, maintaining systems, and ensuring everything works as it should.
Who Should Apply
If you have at least 3 years of experience in IT support and enjoy working in a fast-paced, multi-system environment, this role is for you. You must be able to work independently, troubleshoot effectively, and communicate clearly with users.
Skills Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of IT support experience
- Strong 1st line support across hardware, software, and networking
- Hands-on knowledge of Office 365 (Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange)
- Experience with Sage Evolution
- Exposure to Fenya or similar stock/warehouse management systems (advantageous)
- Printer troubleshooting skills (preferably STD printers)
- Familiarity with onsite Active Directory and Office 365 integration
- Knowledge of SonicWall firewalls or similar security appliances
- Ability to manage and resolve user queries independently on-site
