AGGPA is looking for a highly skilled IT Solutions Architect to join our Group IT Shared Services Team in Cape Town. This is a permanent opportunity to shape our technology landscape while leading strategic projects across cloud, AI, ERP, and enterprise architecture.
About the Role
This role bridges hands-on solution delivery and enterprise architecture design. A key focus will be leading the implementation of the SAGE Intacct ERP system. The ideal candidate is someone with deep experience in IT system design, ERP deployment, security architecture, and AI-driven innovation.

Key Responsibilities
- Architecture Design & Delivery: Design and document scalable IT solutions. Align with governance and compliance standards.

- Security & Compliance: Ensure secure data architecture aligned with ISO, NIST, and cloud security frameworks.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 5–8 years of IT experience with 2–4 years in architecture or solution design roles.
- Proven ERP architecture experience, ideally with SAGE Intacct.
- Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP platforms.
- Hands-on knowledge of APIs, microservices, DevOps, and containerization.
- Understanding of AI/ML applications in enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and cloud-native security practices.
Preferred Certifications
- AWS/Azure Solution Architect certification
- TOGAF or relevant architecture frameworks
- CompTIA Security+ or Microsoft AI Fundamentals
