The Reservations Call Center Agent handles all guest booking inquiries across Newmark’s portfolio of properties. You will be responsible for managing reservations via phone and email, creating guest profiles, processing payments, and upselling services and packages. Your work directly impacts guest satisfaction and supports revenue growth.

Skills and Experience Needed

  • Grade 12 / National Certificate (minimum education requirement)
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with Opera PMS is a plus
  • Previous call center or hospitality experience is advantageous

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to guest inquiries via telephone and email professionally
  • Accurately create and update reservations across all properties
  • Maintain guest records, bookings, payments, and notes
  • Upsell accommodation types and special packages
  • Follow up on quotations to convert leads into bookings
  • Resolve guest concerns or escalate them to management when needed
  • Coordinate guest requests such as dinner bookings and transfers
  • Report system or rate issues to the Reservations Supervisor
  • Process invoices and payments, ensuring all data is accurate
  • Respond to all emails within expected turnaround times
  • Attend training sessions and maintain high service standards
