About the Opportunity
As a General Assistant, you’ll be a vital part of the kitchen and canteen team. From food preparation support to maintaining hygiene and assisting customers at the serving line, this hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist cooks and chefs with meal preparations, especially salads and desserts
- Serve food and manage the serving line to keep it well-stocked and clean
- Operate the cash register if required
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, canteen, and dining areas
- Store and record food leftovers properly
- Follow company and health regulations at all times
- Assist in training new employees when needed
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required

Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Completed Matric or Senior Certificate
