Kontak Recruitment is looking for experienced professionals to join their Roodepoort-based team as a Call Centre Agent – Debt Collections. This full-time role involves working in a high-volume, fast-paced call centre environment focused on recovering outstanding payments from public sector clients.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Make outbound calls to collect overdue payments from public sector accounts
- Negotiate and arrange suitable payment terms with clients
- Track and follow up on payment commitments
- Update client account systems using Excalibur and SAP software
- Resolve queries related to invoices and remittances
- Escalate unresolved issues where necessary
- Prepare reports on daily progress and payment tracking
- Prioritise tasks based on age analysis reports
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and legal regulations
Who Should Apply?

Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) qualification
- 1–2 years’ experience in debt collections (preferably public sector)
- Experience using Excalibur dialler systems (predictive, power, click-to-dial)
- Working knowledge of SAP (Solar, Moonsoft); Sage is a plus
- Computer literacy in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets
- Certificate in credit management or finance is advantageous
