Fedics, part of the Tsebo Solutions Group, is seeking a dedicated General Assistant to join our team in Johannesburg. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and assisting in facility upkeep as part of our Catering Division. Key Responsibilities
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop various types of flooring.
- Dust ceilings, light fixtures, furniture, and surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, and kitchen areas.
- Empty and dispose of trash properly.
- Wash and dry windows.
- Ensure availability of cleaning supplies by liaising with your manager.
- Report any damages or needed repairs promptly.
Skills and Competencies
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and capable of working without close supervision.
- Knowledge of safe use of cleaning products and health regulations.
- Strong time-management abilities.
- Reliable, honest, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to identify and solve problems quickly.
Minimum Qualifications
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
