Job Overview
Clinix Health Group is looking for an Assistant Accountant to support its hospital operations in Sandton. This is a 4-month contract ideal for someone with a finance diploma and entry-level experience.
Minimum Requirements
- A diploma in bookkeeping, accounting, finance, or a similar discipline
- 1–2 years experience in a similar role
- Basic understanding of financial processes
- Familiarity with hospital operations and healthcare finance
Responsibilities
- Coordinate financial and administrative duties in line with governance protocols
- Upload daily banking information onto the system for all facilities
- Investigate and resolve invoicing queries
- Capture and process monthly supplier invoices accurately and on time
- Support finance processes and follow company quality standards and policies
- Provide accurate technical financial knowledge and updates to relevant stakeholders
- Manage stock control of stationery and consumables
- Monitor and control costs to meet section budgets
- Link between accounts payable and finance managers for payment issue resolution
