Key Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and healthy work environment compliant with all safety legislation.
• Educate employees on health and safety requirements.
• Investigate and report all workplace incidents and vehicle accidents.
• Assist in developing HIRA, SOP, and PTO documents.
• To get ready for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications, audit departments.
• Conduct site inspections and internal audits regularly.
• Report using Cura system and manage corrective actions.
• Ensure contractor compliance with safety standards.
• Attend SHEQ-related meetings and manage SHEQ administration tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

• Grade 12 with technical background.
• National Diploma in SHEQ Management (advantageous).
• SAMTRAC, COMSOC 1 and 2 certifications or equivalent.
• Computer literacy – MS Office proficiency.
• Valid Code B Driver’s License.

Experience Required

• Minimum of 2 years in health and safety management.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety laws.
