Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist Intern
- Under the guidance of a licenced chemist, assist with the dispensing of medication.
- Provide exceptional customer service and patient care to ensure the well-being of those you serve .
- Verify adherence to pharmacy best practices and SAPC regulations.
- Support stock management, including ordering and receiving stock.
- Assist with prescription processing and accurate record-keeping.
- Take part in the pharmacy's wellness and health programmes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure your knowledge is current.
Qualifications Required
- A Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) qualification.
- Registration as a Pharmacist Intern with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
