Job Overview: What You’ll Do

As a Collections Consultant, your role is to contact customers with overdue accounts and help them create a plan to settle their debt. It’s not just about collecting payments — it's about problem-solving and building trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to collect outstanding payments.
  • Negotiate and set up payment plans with customers.
  • Keep detailed records of all conversations and agreements.
  • Handle customer queries in a professional and helpful manner.
  • Meet or exceed daily and monthly collection targets.
  • Follow all legal and ethical standards during calls.

Who We’re Looking For

We want reliable, positive, and driven people with:

  • At least 6 months’ experience in collections, customer service, or telesales.
  • A Matric (Grade 12) certificate or equivalent.
  • A clear criminal and positive credit record.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Basic computer literacy.

Working Hours

You’ll work up to 45 hours per week:

  • Monday to Friday: Shifted between 07:00 and 20:30.
  • Saturdays: Up to 2 per month, between 08:00 and 14:00.
