Job Purpose
As the Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Administrator, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining health, safety, and environmental systems in compliance with South African laws, SGS standards, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure full legal and regulatory HSE compliance at the Randfontein site
- Conduct training on health, safety, and environmental procedures
- Keep all risk assessments updated and monitored
- Run weekly and monthly SHE inspections across all site areas
- Maintain safety data sheets (MSDS) and manage the Chemwatch system
- Manage PPE needs analysis, issuance, and compliance
- Handle SHE-related incidents, investigations, and reporting (via Crystal)
- Make sure safety files are up to date and contractors are inducted.
- Support emergency preparedness including medical surveillance
- Participate in SHE Committee meetings and handle secretarial duties
- Follow all Nuclear Regulatory (NNR) requirements as per COR152
- Support the SGS OIMS and KPI reporting structures
Qualifications and Experience
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Diploma in Safety Management
- Minimum 7 years of administration experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office (advanced level)
- Experience in quality and safety management systems (preferred)
