What You’ll Do
As a Call Centre Agent in our New Accounts division, you’ll be part of a dynamic team focused on growing our customer base and making sure every customer receives friendly, fast, and professional service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Answering customer questions and responding to emails or messages quickly and clearly
- Verifying employment and personal details over the phone
- Updating customer records accurately on the system
- Processing new store card applications to help more customers enjoy Mr Price benefits
Key Requirements
Education:
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate
Experience:
- At least 1 year of call centre experience (preferably in new accounts)
- Experience in processing credit or store card applications is a bonus
Skills You’ll Need:
- Clear and confident verbal communication
- Excellent listening and problem-solving abilities
- Empathy and a customer-first mindset
- High attention to detail
- Understanding of key South African consumer laws:
- Consumer Protection Act
- POPI (Protection of Personal Information Act)
- National Credit Act
- ICASA regulations
