AFGRI is offering an exciting 3-year apprenticeship program for individuals who want to become Tractor Mechanics or Earthmoving Mechanics. This is your chance to receive in-service training, develop technical skills, and build a long-term career in the agriculture and mechanical industry.

What Is the AFGRI Apprenticeship?

This is a full-time training opportunity for South African matriculants. If you are not a matriculant, you can apply when the general advert opens in August or September.

During the 3-year apprenticeship, you will be trained to become a qualified Tractor or Earthmoving Mechanic. This includes classroom learning, practical experience, and training from top brands like John Deere.

What Training Is Included?

If you qualify within 3 years, you will enter a work-back period to repay training through service. Early withdrawal may result in repayment of training costs.
