Key Requirements:
- Educational Qualification:
- English and mathematics in grade 12 (not mathematics literacy).
- Physical & Security Requirements:
- Medically fit to work in the mining environment.
- Clear security screening record.
- A valid driver’s license (if applicable).
Advantageous Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in a mining or similar environment would be advantageous but is not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and demonstrate the objectives of the learnership program.
- Complete all program modules within the specified timeframes.
- Raise queries and concerns when needed to ensure progress.
- Adhere to company policies, legal requirements, and safety standards.
- Attend and actively participate in SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) meetings.
- Report hazards, inconsistencies, and any obstacles to completion.
- Wear and use prescribed safety equipment as required.
- Compile and report progress on development goals to relevant stakeholders.
