What You Will Do
As part of the Learnership Program, you will assist with various tasks related to plant production, including:
- Planting, irrigation, and harvesting tasks under the supervision of experienced professionals.
- Soil preparation, fertilization, and pest control techniques.
- Nursery management, plant propagation, and cultivation practices.
- Operating basic plant production equipment as needed.
- Learning to follow safety and environmental protocols when working with plants and machinery.
Job Requirements
This Learnership Program is only open to EE candidates (Employment Equity), and applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be unemployed at the time of application.
- Have a qualification equal to or higher than Grade 9.
- Be passionate about agriculture and plant production.
- Willing to work in outdoor environments and physical conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
