Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Grade 12 (Matric) is required
- N2 qualification is advantageous
- Must have at least 6 months of relevant experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineering teams to complete various projects
- Complete daily tasks with speed and quality
- Conduct daily line inspections and provide feedback
- Respond to machinery breakdowns efficiently
- Perform mechanical maintenance tasks
- Assist with factory lighting maintenance
- Help artisans with overhauling and assembling equipment
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations
- Take on ad hoc tasks as assigned by management
Special Requirements:
- Experience with carton freezers and gyros maintenance
- Understand freezer operations and be able to work in temperatures as low as -40°C
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime when required
- Must be punctual and reliable with excellent attendance
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong knowledge of machinery and mechanical maintenance
- Ability to work in challenging conditions
- Commitment to following safety standards and procedures
