Role Purpose
We are looking for a Credit Vetting Specialist to join our Credit Vetting Operations team. This role involves processing applications for credit vetting, activations, and transfer of ownership, with a focus on accurate assessments and excellent customer service. If you have experience in credit vetting and a passion for helping customers, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Credit Vetting and Assessment: Assess credit vetting requests escalated for manual review, ensuring compliance with company policies and guidelines.
- Customer Verification: Validate and verify customer information accurately before activating post-paid services.
- System Management: Create and activate customer services on Vodacom’s billing system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Transfer of Ownership: Process requests for transferring ownership of subscriber services on the Vodacom billing system.
- Customer Support: Provide telephonic support to trade partners and customers, answering queries related to credit vetting, activation, and ownership transfers.
- Issue Resolution: Resolve escalated queries efficiently, ensuring compliance with Vodacom’s policies and providing clear explanations to customers.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience, with 1 year in a call center environment (credit vetting experience is essential).
- Education: Grade 12 certificate is required. A Credit-related Diploma is highly desirable.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of the credit vetting process and decision-making.
- Proficiency in customer verification, validation, and activation processes.
- Experience with Vodacom's billing system (desirable).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data capturing.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
