Job Overview:

The South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) is seeking a Contact Centre Trainee to provide excellent customer service to its clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to enhancing the customer experience at SACAA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer queries, handling documentation, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

  • Provide first-line customer support in the walk-in centre, contact centre, and through written communication.
  • Follow SACAA’s policies and procedures when managing client interactions.
  • Use the approved CRM system to track and resolve all customer queries.
  • Respond professionally to requests from both external and internal customers.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through regular feedback surveys after each interaction.
  • Maintain a professional image when interacting with clients and ensure all queries are addressed within the agreed SLA timeframe.

Administrative Duties:

  • Prepare, collate, and circulate necessary documentation for meetings and other departmental activities.
  • Maintain an efficient filing system to ensure easy access to documents.
  • Coordinate meetings and functions for the department.
  • Track customer queries and ensure all issues are addressed as per the agreed SLA.
  • Assist with various ad-hoc tasks as required by the department.

Quality Control:

  • Adhere to SACAA’s quality assurance guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with SLA and other service standards.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • National Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Consumer Studies, Business Administration, Management Studies, or an equivalent qualification.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Business administration, marketing, communications, or a similar discipline at the bachelor's degree level.

Experience:

  • a minimum of one year's experience working in a client services or call center.

Job Type & Duration:

  • Contract position with a duration of 1-2 years.
  • Salary: Market related.
  • Location: Midrand, Gauteng.

Additional Information:

All SACAA appointments are subject to the Civil Aviation Act and successful candidates will be subjected to security vetting. Employment Equity candidates will be prioritized in line with SACAA's Employment Equity Plan.
