Job Description:
Are you passionate about helping customers and building strong, lasting relationships? The Call Center Agent role at The Engine Room is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. As a key player in our team, you will be the bridge between the company and our customers, assisting them through inbound and outbound calls, as well as responding to electronic communications and queries.
In this role, you will:
- Handle incoming and outgoing calls, ensuring customers' needs are met with professionalism and accuracy.
- Promote a wide range of products and services, turning leads into sales opportunities Talk to clients, learn about their needs, and provide specialized solutions.
- Achieve and surpass sales goals while maintaining client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve Sales Targets: Drive sales by offering value-added products such as service, warranty, maintenance, and more.
- Conduct Needs Analysis: Ensure the solutions provided are aligned with customer needs.
- Maintain Productivity: Adhere to company targets for talk time (4 hours per day) and overall productivity.
- Upsell and Cross-sell: Maximize sales opportunities through additional product offerings.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain a minimum QA score of 90% by following the sales scripts and maintaining accuracy in all interactions.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to TCF (Treating Customers Fairly) principles, sales scripts, and all regulatory standards.
- Build Relationships: Foster trust-based relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and customer retention.
Ideal Candidate:
In order to succeed in this position, you should possess:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Fit and Proper Requirements based on DOFA (Date of First Appointment), including RE qualification and FAIS Credits.
- NQF Level 4 Short Term Insurance certification.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Minimum of 12 months of telesales experience.
- Previous experience in insurance, service, and maintenance sales is a bonus.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
