Minimum Qualification:

NTC 3 Technical Qualification (Electrical Trade Theory, Mathematics, Engineering Science, Industrial Electronics, or any other subject in the Heavy Current stream) OR

Technical Matric (Grade 12) with subjects including English, Electrical Trade Theory, Mathematics, Physical Science, and one other subject, OR

Full NCV 4 Electrical qualification (with 7 subjects).

Passion for Electrical Field: A keen interest in working with electricity and technology.

Residency: Must live within the City of Cape Town Metropole.

Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is preferred, especially Code C1 (Old Code 10).

Eligibility: Must not have qualified in any trade by the time the apprenticeship starts. Applicants should also not have a National S Diploma qualification or higher.
