Are you looking for a cashier job in South Africa? TWK Agri is hiring for Cashier positions in different locations, including Cedarville (KwaZulu-Natal), Ermelo (Mpumalanga), and Hoedspruit (Limpopo). Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Bag, box, wrap merchandise, and prepare packages for shipment.
- Compute and record transactions accurately.
- Count money in cash drawers to ensure correct amounts and adequate change.
- Sort, count, and wrap notes and coins.
- Establish or identify prices of goods and tabulate bills using calculators, cash registers, or optical scanners.
- Greet customers entering establishments.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
- Maintain periodic balance sheets of transactions.
- Receive payments via cash or card.
- Keep the checkout areas clean and orderly.
- Stock shelves and mark prices on shelves and items.
- Conduct stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Matric / Grade 12 qualification (essential).
- Computer literacy is a must.
- Previous cashier experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work with money and handle transactions accurately.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and interact well with customers.
- Strong interpersonal skills to maintain positive customer relationships.
