Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew role is crucial for ensuring the on-board safety of customers and delivering a 5-star customer experience. This includes:
- Following safety protocols and ensuring the uncompromised customer experience throughout each flight.
- Providing outstanding service that aligns with SAA’s Customer Service Standards.
- Handling customer disputes and promoting the corporate brand.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Cabin Crew member at SAA, your duties will include:
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of all customers and crew onboard.
- Managing emergency situations and inflight medical emergencies.
- Providing high-quality service to passengers and maintaining smooth communication with the flight deck crew and purser.
- Adhering to all relevant company policies, regulations (such as CAA regulations), and legislative requirements (e.g., BCEA, LRA).
Required Qualifications & Experience:
To succeed in this position, you need to possess:
- Grade 12 certification.
- Fluent in English.
- Ability to swim and meet physical requirements, including a minimum height of 1.58 m and maintaining a body mass index (BMI) of 35 or less.
- No visible tattoos and must be well-groomed.
- Reliable transport and the ability to work independently.
- Additional foreign languages will be considered an advantage.
