Key Requirements:
To apply for the Boilermaker Apprenticeship position, you need to meet the following educational criteria:
- N2 with four subjects, including Mathematics, Engineering Science, Engineering/Platers Drawing, and Boilermaker/Platters Trade Theory,
OR - National Certificate Vocational (NCV) L4 ERD (Engineering Related Design) with Welding as a subject.
In addition, you must:
- Pass an ABET L4 Assessment (Numeracy & Literacy).
- Be in good physical health and be prepared to undergo a medical examination and other job-relevant assessments.
- Hold a Code 08/B Driver’s licence.
- Live within 50 km from the Bell Richards Bay factory.
Added Advantages:
- Previous work experience in the engineering industry.
- Successful completion of basic hand skills training.
