Job Overview
Palabora Copper (Pty) Ltd is offering an Artisan Aide Skills Programme for the Ba-Phalaborwa communities. Successful candidates will enter into a 3-month fixed term contract. Based on their performance, they may be invited to join Artisan Development Learnerships after completing the programme.
Artisan Aide Disciplines
- Electrical - Ref: SP-ELEC
- Mechanical (Fitting & Turning) - Ref: SP-MECH
- Instrumentation - Ref: SP-MC&I
- Plater/Boilermaking - Ref: SP-BOIL
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Must have Grade 12.
- Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen and unemployed.
- Age: Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Criminal Record: No criminal record.
- Medical Fitness: Must be medically fit to work in all areas.
- Previous Training: Applicants must not have participated in similar training before.
Required Documents
- Cover Letter: Indicating the specific discipline you are applying for.
- Academic Results: Certified copy of your Nated course results (N2/N3) or NCV Level 3 certificate (all 7 subjects), or Technical Matric Certificate (with at least E symbol for Mathematics and Physical Science).
- CV: Comprehensive Curriculum Vitae.
- ID Copy: Certified copy of your ID.
- Matric Certificate: Certified copy of your Matric certificate.
- Proof of Address: A recent certified copy of proof of residence (e.g., municipal or tribal letter, certified by a commissioner of oaths).
