Key Responsibilities:
This learnership will provide you with hands-on experience in water and wastewater treatment. As a learner, your duties will include:
- Assisting with the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment plants.
- Monitoring water and wastewater quality parameters.
- Conducting basic laboratory tests and assisting with the analysis of water samples.
- Participating in equipment and instrument maintenance.
- Attending classes and completing assignments as part of the program.
- Writing assessments and maintaining a practical logbook to track your learning progress.
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Age: Between 18 and 35 years old.
- Education:
- Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics and Physical Science (at least Level 3 in all subjects).
- Applicants must not have any post-matric qualifications.
- Employment Status: Must not be employed or enrolled in any other qualification or learnership program.
- Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen.
- Documentation Required:
- Certified copy of ID document

- SAQA / NLRD verification report (from the SAQA website)
