A well-established dealership vehicle workshop in East Rand, Gauteng is offering an incredible Apprenticeship opportunity for motivated individuals who want to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in vehicle maintenance and repair.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with experienced technicians and the foreman, learning all aspects of the workshop processes and procedures.
- Assist with booking vehicles and interacting with customers.
- Engage in all technical aspects, including servicing, repairs, and diagnostics of vehicles.
- Ensure full adherence to OHSA regulations and health & safety procedures.
- Build strong working relationships with the sales team, workshop, parts department, and service providers.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 qualification, with a technical qualification such as N1/N2/N3 (motor trade subjects will be a distinct advantage).
- Valid Code 8 (EB) driver’s license.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Previous knowledge or experience in a dealership service workshop or similar mechanical service workshop is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Strong customer relations skills and a team player.
- must be free of criminal records and in good health.
- Candidates must reside in East Rand or in proximity to the dealership.
- Own transport is advantageous.
