Overview:
Tracker Connect is providing a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for 8 talented young individuals in South Africa with a System Support Learnership Programme (NQF Level 5), based at the Tracker Head Office in Johannesburg, starting on 1st February 2025. This learnership aims to empower young unemployed people with the IT skills and experience required to deliver top-quality service. Key Outputs: The qualification involves a combination of structured learning based on unit standards and hands-on workplace experience, amounting to a total of 147 credits.Once the qualification is completed, the young individuals will be equipped with the following skills:
Job Responsibilities:
- Skilled in using a logical approach to troubleshoot common hardware and software problems encountered in an organization’s everyday operations.
- Understanding of how technology plays a key role in business operations.
- Ability to design integrated technology-driven communication systems to enhance business efficiency.
- Competence in organizing, managing, and accessing data effectively to fulfill organizational goals.
- Ability to create secure information systems that prevent data loss and breaches of business integrity.
- Skill in designing IT systems that reflect the business structure to optimize data flow, resource utilization, and operational efficiency.
- Competence in mobilizing technical resources and technology solutions to solve business problems in a given situation.
- Skill in managing technology projects to achieve both cost efficiency and high performance.
- Skill in maintaining strong and positive customer relationships.
- Skill in managing tasks within a change, release, and configuration framework.
- Capability to effectively use technology-driven research tools and information repositories.
- Competence in identifying and presenting business opportunities clearly.
- Competence in supporting, installing, and maintaining end-user applications.
Minimum Entry Requirements:
- Should be a South African citizen and have a valid SA ID.
- Age range: 18 to 35, with no criminal history.
- A Matric certificate (Grade 12) and an NQF Level 4 qualification in Technical Support, or equivalent.
- Must be currently unemployed, or applicants should be unemployed at the time of application.
- Excellent communication and social skills or strong interpersonal abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness and ability to grow or Strong desire and potential for learning.
- the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Skill in working in an environment where multiple abilities are needed.
- Fundamental computer skills.
