We at RCL Foods are looking for a general worker to join our grocery team. The job is located in Randfontein and reports to the Senior Lab Analyst. RCL Foods is searching for someone to make sure the laboratory runs smoothly and safely by keeping it clean, managing waste, and following the required systems and procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
- Completed Secondary Education or Grade 12 Qualification
- Simple cleanliness habits or Basic cleanliness routines
- Ability to communicate well
- Focus on accuracy or Careful observation
Tasks and Duties:
- Maintaining a tidy and clean lab
- Disposing of samples and waste from the lab or Clearing samples and waste from the laboratory
- Washing glass items or Cleaning laboratory glassware
- Sweeping and wiping floors and counters
- Washing the restrooms or Tidying up the bathrooms
- Moving supplies to the chemical storage
- Disposing of waste from the lab or Taking out trash from the laboratory
- Spotting differences from the management system or test procedures
- Taking steps to avoid or reduce such deviations
- Taking samples out of the laboratory
